Ever wondered what goes on behind the scenes at Fischer’s? Take a seat at our Kitchen Bench and watch our talented kitchen team in action as they prepare a bespoke tasting menu showcasing the best seasonal ingredients from our kitchen garden and trusted local producers.

With space for up to four guests, it’s a fun and more personal way to experience the kitchen and enjoy something a little different.

A festive escape to Fischer’s 🎄🥂

Make a little time for yourself this festive season with an overnight stay, delicious seasonal dining and a glass of Laurent-Perrier Ch*****ne on arrival. ✨

Available from 8th November to 3rd January, our Festive Break includes a three-course dinner in our award-winning restaurant (Sunday to Friday), followed by a cosy evening beside the log fire. Dinner can be upgraded to the short and full tasting menus.

A lovely way to celebrate the season or enjoy a little winter getaway.

Spend a morning in the Peak District discovering wild mushrooms and learning a little more about what grows right on our doorstep.🍄🌿

Join expert forager Sam from for our final foraging day of the year on Thursday 5th November. After a morning outdoors, you’ll return to Fischer’s with your finds for a delicious two-course lunch, followed by a tour of our kitchen garden.

It’s a lovely way to spend a day, with good company, delicious food, fresh air and plenty to discover along the way.

£110 per person, including tea/coffee, the foraging experience, lunch and a garden tour.

Guy’s back from holiday this week, with a new stand-in while Alice is away… Meet Phoebe, aka Alice Senior! 🍷🦙

With the evenings getting a little cooler, Guy’s picked a lovely Matetic Corralillo Carménère. Expect rich red and dark fruit flavours, warming spice and a hint of pepper, balanced with a lovely freshness. Perfect for an autumn evening with dinner followed by a glass by the fire. 🍂
