The Winyard’s Gap Inn is looking for a confident, outgoing and friendly person to join our team.

Experience is preferred but not essential. We’re looking for someone who can multitask, work well in a busy environment and has a positive attitude. You should be reliable, well presented and able to provide excellent customer service in a busy pub environment.

The role will involve running food, clearing tables, interacting with customers and helping to keep the dining room running smoothly.

Must be available to work evenings and weekends, with consistent availability for shifts each week.

This is a perfect opportunity for someone at school or college looking for part-time work, with flexible hours available.

Something new for lunch at Winyard’s Gap

As the days get a little shorter and autumn settles in, we think there are few things better than escaping for a proper pub lunch.

So, from Monday 5th October, we’re introducing our new Plat du Jour — a specially created lunchtime menu, served Monday to Friday from 12pm–2pm throughout October and November.

Each week, our kitchen will put together a fresh menu featuring three starters, three mains and three puddings, with plenty of seasonal favourites and comforting dishes to choose from. The menu will change every week, so there’ll always be something new to come back for. The dishes have been designed especially for lunchtime — satisfying enough for a proper meal, but just right for the middle of the day.

Last hurrah of summer!

This Friday 4th September, we’re making the most of those last summer evenings at Winyard’s Gap.

We’re delighted to be welcoming back Isle 45 - kicking off around 6pm, bringing us a few hours of great music and good vibes.

There’s no rain in the forecast, but as the evening cools down, wrap up warm and come enjoy the last days of summer with us.
