Can a place ever be too dog-friendly? We think you already know our answer. 🐾👻

We headed to York with one mission: to adopt a ghost from the viral York Ghost Merchants. Unfortunately, so did everyone else! A four-hour queue meant we didn't quite make it inside, so our top tip is to avoid peak times if you can... and leave plenty of time to queue if it's at the top of your York bucket list. ✅

Still, any disappointment quickly disappeared. The staff couldn't have been more friendly to both two-legged and four-legged visitors, and we'll definitely be back to try again.

Elsewhere around the Shambles, spooky decorations and Halloween photo opportunities filled almost every corner, making it a dream day out for dogs who love the camera. 🐶 One of our favourite finds was York Gin, who even have a dedicated wall and Instagram account celebrating their canine customers. Shout out to ! 🥂

We were also lucky enough to stumble across the Halloween Festival and Ghosts in the Gardens, where incredible ghostly sculptures were hidden throughout the city, turning York into one giant treasure hunt.

Honestly, York is one of the most dog-friendly cities we've visited in a long time. Our only complaint? There was far too much to fit into one day.

What happens when Southwold gets invaded by sausage dogs? 🌭🐾

A whole lot of wagging tails, little legs and some seriously adorable faces! 🐶❤️

On Sunday 18th October, we headed to the beautiful Suffolk coast to join Southwold Sausage Walk and what a day it was!

This year’s walk was particularly special, held in memory of Percy, the dachshund who inspired it all, while bringing the community together to support an incredible cause. ❤️

A huge thank you to the organisers for such a wonderful event. We loved meeting so many lovely dogs and their humans!
