🚨 PARK UPDATE 🚨

With this recent spike in temperature, here are some helpful hints and tips to beat the heat!

- Keep curtains and blinds closed during the day to reduce temperatures
- Open windows where safe to do so and ensure adequate ventilation
- Stay hydrated and avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight
- Use sun protection, including sunscreen, hats, and appropriate clothing
- Supervise children around water at all times
- DO NOT swim in the Mere- it is a SSSI protected area and swimming is both dangerous and not permitted

🐾 Furry Friends 🐾
- Dogs must never be left unattended in a holiday home, vehicle, or enclosed space during periods of high temperature. Holiday homes can become extremely hot, even with windows open
- Dogs should always have access to fresh drinking water and shaded areas
- Walks should be limited to cooler periods of the day, such as early morning or late evening
- Hot pavements, decking and artificial surfaces can cause burns to paws
- Any concerns regarding animal welfare should be reported to the park team immediately
