We get it, you've got a big day planned, you're scaling munros or hiking 25 miles, and you haven't been to a vegan place before. You're worried that you're going to be hungry, or that you won't like anything.

Good luck with that.

Here's just a few of our fab 100% plant based, vegan breakfasts, and of course, there's porridge too, we are in the beautiful Highlands of Scotland after all.

This new path is magic for those wanting to see some of the best of what Glencoe has to offer without scaling the heights of the iconic munros. You can walk, run or cycle, and so far, its pretty quiet, so you can enjoy some true tranquillity in the most epic of Scottish scenery.

Of course, there's plenty for the adrenaline junkies in Glencoe too, so drop us a question for some top recs on those. We're lucky at Greenstone Lodge to be only 12 miles from the mountain resort, and 17 from the village, so we've done our best to try as many experiences here as possible.

4 days off for a family visit, and we road tested as many local (ish) activities as we could. We are beyond blessed in this area to have such a wide choice of outdoor things to do. Granted the weather doesn't always play balll as beautifully as it did last week, but most of these will go ahead in all weather's. We hugely reccomend:

-Visiting Easdale island (cliff jumping not compulsory)

-Hiring canoes from Killin outdoor centre and exploring Loch Tay and its little sandy islands

-Visiting for Tubing, then taking a gondola ride up the mountain for Disc Golf with insane views and hilarious boggy antics

-Searching the many beautiful rivers and lochs for hidden gold!

What an amazing time I had yesterday. After a lovely welcome and helpful explanation of the set up, I spent an hour in what can only be described as pure bliss. I'm certainly no sauna expert, but the welcome, the views, the wood fired sauna and the gorgeous beach to cool off on made this super well worth the trip from Greenstone Lodge. They also have a second location at nearby Tralee which I'll be sure to try soon.

I'd recommend pairing this with a trip to for some goodies to eat before and after , and a trip to the for something lovely to drink with your evening meal back at Greenstone Lodge. Perfect.
