Our October guests have had a wonderful time here in beautiful West Bay and Bridport. In fact quite a few haven’t visited this area before and were excited to see what the Jurassic Coast had in store for them. No one was disappointed even if the weather turned out blustery and wet … and everyone said that they’d be coming to stay again in the summer! How lovely is that?!
November and December are very exciting months for us at Britmead 😍 and all will be revealed very soon 💕 The new year will be here before we know it ###

It’s a snuggly warm breakfast time in the Rope & Rudder 🔥 the perfect place for our guests to warm their cockles before heading out on their Jurassic Coast adventures. There’s something really comforting about sitting around the log burner whilst it blows a hoolie outside 😍💕 Just perfect ###

It’s Wednesday again! The weeks are flying by aren’t they?! It’s one of my favourite days in Bridport as it’s market day and the streets are filled with stalls selling everything you need (and don’t really need but can’t resist 🤭) my favourite being the lady who sells fluffy jackets and cowboy boots! 😃 yeee haaa!

We have had many guests in the last week or so who are visiting Dorset for a walking holiday. Making the most of our beautiful coastal paths in both directions from Britmead and returning at the end of their daily adventures rosy cheeked and ready for a good nights sleep.

As we head towards November and Christmas we have some very exciting times ahead here at Britmead. Keep your eyes peeled and I’ll keep you posted on what’s coming up very soon! 💕

To book your stay with us, check out our website @ britmeadguesthouse or call Nina (me) direct on 07818 832459

We look forward to welcoming you soon!
