Vivienne has stayed with us since we opened Old Great House in 2022 and was our first guest to stay there.

"Blissful stay
This was our 4th visit to Great House Farm. We've stayed both in the house and in one of the pods. They are all fabulous. The house is spacious, quaint and cosy. It stayed blissfully cool during the recent heatwave. Huge kitchen with lots of space to cook and eat. The two living rooms give space to relax and spread out, especially if you're a large group wanting to do different things. The rooms are luxurious, comfortable, clean and very full of character. Plentiful fluffy towels supplied. The hot tub is a lovely bonus and exceptionally well maintained. The garden space was lovely to sit and read and relax in. The fire pit for bbqing and toasting marshmallows is super fun. It feels secluded and peaceful. The pods are modern and stylish, very cosy and well equipped. The view across the valley is simply stunning. You can sit inside your pod or on the the decking and just stare out all day, it never gets old. We saw some stunning sunsets during our week here. We loved hearing the animals giving their opinions throughout the day. Goats yelling, donkeys braying, lambs bleating, it was all delightful. Lynne, Glyn, Reece and Carrie are so warm and welcoming. We cannot recommend it highly enough."
