We have a little competition here up at Woodlands Hotel going on.

For £1 guess how many sweets are in the spooky jar for your chance to win the contents of the jar and a bottle of w**e (Red or White)

The jar is on the bar so let a member of staff know your guess and they'll write it down.

Winner will be announced on Friday 30th evening 10pm/10.30pm.

Come and get your guess in for a chance to win.

UP HERE AT WOODIES

The weather is grim and it certainly doesn't encourage you to leave the house to come upto the pub.

However we have you covered yet again. We have the fire lit 🔥 a great selection of real ales on, la**rs, w**e and soft drinks.

It much better watching a storm unfold whilst your in the warmth with a nice pint in your hand.

If your brave enough to come up we have a warm welcome waiting too.

Don't forget our Halloween party on Friday 30th Oct also. Prizes to be won for scariest costume and couple/group costumes. Boozy apple bobbing and hopefully lots of laughs.

We will be having our Halloween party on Friday 30th October starting at 7pm 🕖

There will be costume competions for the scariest costume and the best group/couple costume 🤡👻

We'll also be having boozy apple bobbing and guess the spooky sweet jar for your chance to win some prizes.

It would be great to see some familiar faces but I get the feeling we might not recognise some of you 😂😂
