Some places are near the sea.

Some places look at the sea.

And then there are the rare places where the sea becomes part of everyday life.

Coffee on the balcony. Dogs on the window seat. Boats drifting across the bay. The tide quietly changing outside the window.

No rush. No agenda. Just time to slow down.

And then you realise it isn’t.

It’s the way the light hits the water.
The colours shifting hour by hour.
The way you keep glancing up, again and again.

You’ll sit there longer than you meant to.
Coffee goes cold. Books stay open.

And at some point…
you realise you’ve been looking at the sea for hours.
