Congratulations to RUAS member 𝐃𝐫 𝐓𝐨𝐦 𝐌𝐨𝐫𝐫𝐨𝐰 on his recent appointment as President of the Guild of Agricultural Journalists of Ireland.

Tom is a familiar face for many in the local agricultural sector and continues to write for the Irish Farmers’ Journal weekly📝

Commenting on his election as President, Tom said, “I’m very happy, very honoured. Quite astounded actually to have got to this stage in my career, my rather long career, but very, very pleased to take up the position.”

Both the Northern and Southern Sections of the Guild of Agricultural Journalists, support journalists, editors, public relations and marketing professionals in the agri-media sector to network, inspire, inform and learn👏🏻

The Ulster Farmers' Union has reiterated concerns regarding the Farming with Nature Transition Scheme after meeting arable growers in the North West who continue to report that significant areas of productive farmland have been deemed ineligible due to mapping constraints.

UFU deputy president Clement Lynch recently met affected growers to hear directly about the impact the issue is having on farm businesses and to gather further evidence from those affected.

So anyone needing carrots give us a shout! We can sell in tonne bags, 20kgs, nets, or stock feed to your shops, and obviously already supply a few wholesale customers, but we are happy to speak to others. Delivery may be available for larger orders depending on address.

💡 Would anyone be interested in direct sales with boxes upto 25kg (smaller but postage will be the same no matter what) plus postage of £5.95 direct to your door and delivered within 24 hours. You can share them out with family or neighbours.
