As someone who values honesty and trust, this year I decided to offer our tent on a simple, no-fuss basis: book, turn up, and enjoy your stay without unnecessary barriers.
Unfortunately, too many people took advantage of that trust. As a result, from next year we will be aligning with standard campsite practice. Bookings will require a minimum of two nights and a deposit. This protects our business from lost revenue and last-minute no-shows.
To every genuine guest who booked and stayed with us — thank you. Your honesty and respect meant a great deal.
It’s always the minority who spoil things for the majority. We won’t let that continue.
