This Sunday (28th June 2026), join our 1900s Pit Village folk as they celebrate Sunday School Anniversary, a big event for the community, when children, wearing their finery, would have taken part in a service before gathering for a picnic and a treat.

Enjoy beautiful choir performances from our very own Beamish Choir, and readings in The 1900s Pit Village chapel by our Beamish Youth Club.

A not so wild pheasant in our garden hiding in near the trees!

It was sunny and a little bit windy!

So, we travelled to Seahouses and Beadnell in Northumberland.

We walked on the beaches at Seahouses and Beadnell, cobwebs definitely blown away, ice-creams and a cappuccino at Milk and Honey in Seahouses, soft drinks at the Landing in Beadnell and a pizza at BAE, Beadnell.
