The tide’s out. The boats are waiting. For once, there’s nowhere you need to be.

A little moment in Flushing.

Low tide. Little boats. A slow morning by the water.

This is the good life in Falmouth. 🌊

3 coastal walks in and around Falmouth that we love 🌊🥾

📍 Durgan → Helford Passage
Around 0.8 miles each way, following the coast path along the beautiful Helford River. Expect woodland, secluded coves and gorgeous estuary views before reaching Helford Passage - where a drink at the Ferry Boat Inn makes the perfect finish. Allow around 20 - 30 minutes each way, or longer for plenty of stops.

📍 Flushing → Mylor
Around 4 miles as a circular walk and roughly 1.5 - 2 hours. Starting in the pretty village of Flushing, the route follows the shoreline with views across Carrick Roads and Falmouth before reaching Mylor Harbour. There’s a mix of coast, woodland and countryside along the way.

📍 Swanpool → Gyllyngvase
A short and easy one at around 0.5 miles each way and just 10 - 15 minutes. Follow the coast path around Swanpool Point for beautiful views across Falmouth Bay before dropping down onto Gyllyngvase Beach. Perfect for a gentle stroll - especially with a coffee or ice cream waiting at the other end.

Three very different walks, all with beautiful views and plenty of places to stop along the way. Which one are you choosing? 🌊

Save this for your next trip to Falmouth 🤍
