We're a group of businesses dedicated to promoting tourism and trade in Filey and surrounding areas.

Whether providing accommodation, food and drink, entertainment or goods, we strive to offer the best for our visitors. With close ties to local groups and organisations, we look to the future as well as today, endeavouring to improve the local environment for all to enjoy, whatever time of year. This page is administered by volunteer members on behalf of the Filey Tourism And Trade Association. So the budget has been and yes there will be some winners especially on business rates. But the despite huge pressure from the Hospitality industry, there is no cut in and it seems the plan continues for the Visitor Levy. Our campaign continues.

Have Your Say on Parking in Filey
Representatives from Filey Town Council have been invited to attend a Area Parking Action Plan meeting with North Yorkshire Council.
There are the main parking issues that Filey Town Council will be raising:
Residents' Parking
Event Parking
Seasonal Parking Restrictions
Clear Signage
Coach Parking
Before the meeting, they would like to hear thoughts from Filey residents. Are there any parking-related issues, concerns, or suggestions that you feel should be raised with North Yorkshire Council?
Please share your thoughts in the comments below.
Your feedback will help ensure that local concerns are represented during discussions.

FTTA Community Grant Presentation Evening

Tonight saw the presentation of the FTTA Sponsorship Grants to a number of fantastic local groups and events that play such an important role in our community.

We were delighted to welcome representatives from:
⭐ StarFest – Gary�❤️ Cottage Aid – Linda�📚 Filey Literature Festival – Chris�🎵 Filey Folk Festival – Siân & Chris

The funding for these grants comes directly from FTTA membership funds, demonstrating how being a member actively helps support and give back to local organisations, events and community initiatives right here in our area.
Applications for this year's grants were open from 1st July to 31st August, with funding allocations discussed and agreed at the FTTA September meeting.

A huge thank you to all the groups who applied and for the valuable contribution you make to our community. We look forward to seeing the positive impact these grants will have over the coming months.

We would also like to extend our sincere thanks to the Filey Conservative Club for hosting us this evening and providing an excellent venue for the presentations.

Help us if you can and share this post. Tourism businesses need your help. Your next break or businesstrip to Filey or anywhere in will cost you more if this goes ahead. With hospitality businesses already taxed at over 80%, this is unwelcome at this time and will result in job losses both in hospitality and the wider community as the financial ripple passes on. Please help us to stop it and sign the petition. Thank you
