We are aware of a number of counterfeit £20 notes currently circulating in the area.

Unfortunately, a few people have already attempted to use them here at the Horse & Jockey – and failed.

Please be aware that any counterfeit notes presented will be retained, not returned, and reported to the appropriate authorities. Anyone attempting to pass fake currency will also be barred from the premises.

It’s simply not worth the risk. Don’t be stupid.
