The Great Yarmouth Hook is real, once this town grabs you it never lets you go.

You come as a child, 20 years later you’re bringing your children, another 20 years later and they are bringing their children.

It’s got an old fashioned charm, a 80’s/90’s feel, proper decent people, forget sophistication, Socks & Pants on Regent Road and that’s why I love it.

The Tut & Tat in the Regent Road shops, inject that stuff in to my veins, Donkeys, Fun Trains, give me that any day over a Dubai soulless Shopping Mall

No motorways, no traffic, the huge open skies and incredible sunsets, the Puppet Man waving his raggedy old manky puppet.

Driving up and down the seafront, getting rinsed in the crane machines and 2p Pushers.

A town stuck in a time warp and that’s its attraction, I’m glad I got Hooked, my Great Grandchildren will thank me for it ❤️
