Well it finally happened. We were delayed 24hrs because of a power cut (thank you storm Austen!) but yesterday we got it done.

Excuse the random ponytails but I’m donating my hair to The Little Princess Trust (they make wigs for kids going through chemo. Heroes) so I’m maximising the length I can give them.

I’m so pleased that we’ve nearly reached £2k! What a boost for Macmillan Cancer Support. Did you know just £26 could help run an Online Community forum for one hour? In this time, 72 people affected by cancer in the UK can give support to each other on anything to do with cancer.

What a buzz (ha) to be able to contribute to that.

Thank you so much to everyone who has donated, I know so many of you on this page have, I’m really grateful for your support. What amazing humans you all are.

I promise I’ll go back to treehouse content now 🌳

After today I just needed a little reminder of calmer weather! Enjoy!

I hope you all survived the first storm of the winter without too much damage, our guests in Daskor were ready to move in permanently as the lane was blocked both ends by fallen trees!

So… yeah… it’s been a day BUT the road was cleared, all three treehouses were cleaned and ready by the skin of our teeth. What a team.

Now to hunker down in front of the fire.

Now the season is slowing down the treehouses have started arguing, going over reviews, looking at bookings, trying to decide who was the best this year.

Obviously I can’t help, I love them all equally… but you might be able to… which is your favourite?

Not long now and it’ll be gone. Saturday 24th October is 10 years to the day Patrick got the all clear. Wouldn’t it be amazing if we could raise enough to give someone else some sustained support?

So if you arrive for a stay after next Saturday the beanie in the unseasonable warm weather will be explained!

As soon as I got that email I knew I had to do something.

Even though I knew nothing I could do would actually help. I just wanted her to feel seen… And the usual welcome pack nibbles weren’t going to cut it!

Thankfully our village shop is incredible and I could pick up some lovely little gifts…

Ps that lip balm is made by a local 14 year old lad who has his own hives!

Keeping my fingers crossed for a re-run of these scenes this winter.

It was so magical to stand at the top of the hill looking down at the mist in the valley and up to the most incredible colours over the treehouses.

Obviously I’m biased but I do think Cornwall is stunning in the autumn.

The squirrels have been particularly active the last few days… it looks like next year my lawn will be a mini forest of trees judging by their burying shenanigans.

Photo 3 is the section of coast path between Mullion & Poldhu, it’s a corker and only a few minutes drive from us.

It really is the season to get a good stomp going on the coast path… knowing you’ve got a fire and a wood-fired hot tub waiting for you in your very own treehouse. Bliss.
