A change of pace last week as we finished off our season by hosting the lovely folks from JCT600ltd and Bentley Leeds, to celebrate the launch of their new, first electric vehicle, the Torcal. Modern elegance set against the rustic backdrop of our Hay Shed was the perfect setting for showcasing British craftsmanship at its best, and the ongoing development of this iconic brand.

Our rural Northumberland landscape was the backdrop to a selection of beautiful Bentleys displayed around the site. Bentley Leeds chose to launch their new all electric Torcal here.

Guests enjoyed welcome drinks, wondering around the estate to admire the various Bentleys & some fine dining delivered through The Duck House Pantry.

An event that was a pleasure to hose with some lovely guests to chat too. A really diverse crowd who showed a genuine interest in our historic site.

We are usually found making couples wedding days come to life but last week we welcomed Bentley Leeds along with their customers to launch their all new electric car! It was a different kind of event to end our wedding season and we loved being part of this launch!

It was the first time a car has been inside our event space and expertly driven through our huge barn doors!!

A huge thank you to The Duck House Pantry for putting on a wonderful spread with their usual excellent service.

We hope to host more of these kinds of events in the future so if you’re interested in Hallington Mill being the rural backdrop for your brand, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.

Due to a last minute cancelation we now have October half term availability in the Mill!!!

We sleep up to 14 guests across 6 spacious bedrooms.

Free from the 26th-30th of October.

Set in 27 acres with paths to wonder and a woodland to explore, dens and childrens play centre there is something for all the family to enjoy here!

We just loved being part of Rachel & Dans wedding celebrations. From their woodland ceremony with to fine dining with then cocktail making followed by an amazing set to dance the night away too!

Their wedding soundtrack was amazing from chilled drinks reception to some absolute bangers on the dance floor. All expertly delivered by their friend and complete gentleman Biz.

Rachel & Dan designed & brought together their nearest & dearest for their own wedding stay. We welcomed them the day before their wedding day to settle in and enjoy setting up all their personal touches. Once all set up they wondered to the Mill to have drinks and snacks while watching the premier of Traitors!! They all gathered in the Mill cinema room on their wedding eve to watch it before retiring for an early night!!

With our two houses the Mill & Barn they both had space to prepare for their wedding day separately but both on site. All ready being here lead to a seamless romantic woodland wedding ceremony beneath the trees surrounded by their friends & family.

The rest of their wedding day they spent doing all the things they loved surrounded by their favourite people. Once some serious moves had been made on the dance floor they then wondered back to the Mill & Barn accommodation to rest and wake up to our gorgeous views, fresh air as husband and wife….a wedding stay well spent…huge congratulations Mr & Mrs Silver!

While we love hosting weddings we are not just a wedding venue, we also welcome stays all year round.

Lots of our couples return & many of our stays are to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries or to just reconnect with friends & family!

One of our lovely couples just described our accommodation and being able to spend two nights here over their wedding as the cherry on top of their wedding experience! Stays here are described as discovering a little bit of heaven!

Some weddings are a complete joy to be a part of, Andrew and Hannahs day was certainly one of those days!

The ceremony started with their groomsman Josh playing Hannah down the woodland isle. Sarah Clarke lead a beautiful ceremony which set the feel of the rest of their day. So thoroughly thoughtful & personal.

The guests then enjoyed our lawn games while sipping drinks taking in the views and enjoying the sunshine! canapés from made their way around this lovely crowed. Being thanked by strangers for bringing their family together in the spaces we have built here has to be a hi-light of ours.

Magic Hat then served up some amazing food which the guests raved about well into the evening!

Cocktails then greeted the guests as they made their way outside following the amazing food and touching speeches.

Everyone soaked in the evening sunshine & personal touches before heading in to enjoy the bands first set. The dance floor was never empty from the first to last beat! So much fun was clearly had with guests enjoying treats & ice creams between dance moves!

Thank you to all the suppliers who brought this day to life for us & helped everyone celebrate Andrew & Hannah!
