(one ensuite) and a bunk room. Well-behaved pets are welcome by arrangement. Caravan Club members have enjoyed exclusive use of our CL for over 30 years. With a maximum of just 5 touring caravans, you will be able to enjoy the peace and space that our beautiful CL offers, bordered by woodland and with views of the Preseli Hills.

We enjoyed the stunning Pembrokeshire coast from a different angle this week with an evening sailing aboard the historic PS Waverley.

We'd barely left Fishguard Harbour when a pod of playful dolphins appeared, leaping through the waves between the ship and the RNLI Fishguard lifeboat. Along the way we were also treated to spectacular coastal scenery and plenty of seabirds, making for a truly memorable evening.

While the Waverley only visits Pembrokeshire for a few days each year, there are lots of boat trips available throughout the season, offering the chance to experience our rugged coastline, hidden coves and incredible wildlife from the water. It's an unforgettable way to see this special corner of Wales.

Still dreaming of a summer escape? We have a few weeks of availability remaining at Caban Tawel between now and September. Later in the summer, the Pembrokeshire coastline becomes even more magical as grey seals gather on our beaches and coves to have their pups.

Are you like me, when you're on holiday, the last thing you want to do is spend your evenings cooking?!

The good news is that when you stay with us at Caban Tawel, there are plenty of great places to eat within 15 minutes of the cabin, some just 5 minutes away.

Whether you're looking for a wholesome lunch made from produce grown right outside the door at Onion Garden Cafe, homemade food with chips just like Mum used to make and proper puddings at Corner Piece Inn, a tasty meal at Wolfe Inn, or good old fish and chips from 's Cooking Fish & Chip Restaurant and Takeaway, there is something to suit everyone.

And that's just the start - you'll find even more cafés, pubs and restaurants in Fishguard and Haverfordwest.

So put your feet up, relax, and let someone else do the cooking for a change!

We were very excited this evening when we checked our new wildlife camera and discovered that we'd captured this elusive visitor on film - an otter! 🦦

Over the years we've spotted plenty of signs that otters were using the river that runs through our farm, but we've never actually seen one ourselves. So, although this footage isn't the best, it's still incredibly special for us.

The idea to buy our own wildlife camera came from several guests who have brought theirs on holiday and captured wonderful images of the wildlife around our woodland and even near the log cabin. Their enthusiasm inspired us to give it a try, and we're so glad we did!

We're now looking forward to seeing what else the camera records and, with a bit of luck, getting an even better view of our otter in the future.

It's moments like these that remind us how lucky we are to share our farm with such amazing wildlife. ❤️

Sometimes the wildlife moments happen when you least expect them… right outside the kitchen window 🦅

Yesterday lunchtime, I happened to glance out into the garden and spotted this beautiful sparrow hawk perched nearby, calm as anything while the smaller birds went quiet.

We are so lucky to have such a variety of wildlife here on the farm, from the small birds you hear all day to hunters like this who appear when you least expect it. You don’t have to go far to feel close to nature here and sometimes it comes to you.

If you’re looking for a peaceful escape surrounded by nature, woodland and wildlife, you can experience it for yourself at Caban Tawel.
