What is a slow stay?

A slow stay is not about fitting less into your day so you can feel guilty about it.

It is about choosing what deserves your attention.

A longer breakfast. A walk without tracking the distance. A conversation without checking the time. A decision to stay in because the rain sounds good on the roof.

At Tiny Home Borders, slow is not an itinerary. It is permission.

"Took GF to Tiny Home One for her birthday. It was fantastic, and exactly as I hoped it would be. On arrival we had fresh milk, eggs, bread and butter... there was evenly freshly baked biscuits which were delicious. We both have very busy careers so being able to take some time out to recharge in the cozy setting on Tiny Home One was exactly what we needed with the highlight being the outdoor bath. Additionally the mattress was super comfy so we both had excellent sleeps over the 3 nights that we stayed. I'm sure this wont be our last visit. From arrival to check out, everything was very straight forward. Thank you to Claire (host) for sharing this amazing space with us." Michael, October '26
