🌠 There's another spectacular celestial show to look forward to this November! ✨

While many eyes are turned skywards tonight to enjoy colourful bursts of light, nature is preparing a dazzling display of its own!

The Leonids meteor shower returns later this month, peaking overnight on 17 November, with the chance to spot fast, bright shooting stars streaking across the sky. ✨

Where better to enjoy a little celestial wonder than Herefordshire? 💜

With wide-open countryside, peaceful landscapes and wonderfully dark skies, our County offers a beautiful setting to escape the everyday and experience the magic of stargazing.

🌙 A little stargazing tip: The Moon is expected to set around midnight on the peak night, leaving darker skies and a better chance of spotting meteors, weather permitting!

POV: the weather is wild outside, but you have absolutely nowhere to be 🤎

We’re rather loving these stormy days at Cynefin. The perfect excuse to hunker down, get cosy by the fire, lose yourself in a good book or get a little competitive over a board game.

While nature does its thing outside, we’re embracing the art of doing very little. No plans, no rushing, just slow mornings and cosy afternoons.

Some of our guests never want to leave the lodge… and honestly, who can blame them!

We have one lodge remaining this weekend (30th), so get in touch to book and all this cosiness could be yours!

Schools out, woodland adventures await!

We can’t wait to welcome our little guests and their families to Cynefin Retreats this October half term!

Discover our secret den under the stairs, filled with nature books, binoculars and wooden toys for imaginative play.

Swing among the trees, explore the woodland and go fairy-seeking in the meadow. Plus, find plenty of autumn adventures nearby, with handy recommendations in your welcome book.

There’s something rather lovely about autumn at Cynefin 🍎🍂

The golden light, the rolling hills, the crunch of leaves underfoot… and the simple joy of picking an apple straight from the tree.

When the fruit is in season, help yourself! Take a little wander, breathe in the fresh country air, find a sunny spot and enjoy a moment of doing absolutely nothing.

We think it’s these little things that make a stay at Cynefin so special. A chance to slow down, get closer to the land, and reconnect with the things that really matter.

And with autumn painting the hills in all those beautiful golden hues, we can’t think of a better time to come and stay. 🌾

After dark is when the pods really come alive…

And guess what? We provide the MARSHMALLOWS! 🍡

With your own private fire pit, logs ready to go and marshmallows waiting to be toasted, all you need to do is grab a cosy blanket, make a hot drink and settle in for some serious autumn magic. ☕️✨

With the clocks turning back next weekend, the darker evenings mean even more excuses to snuggle up by the fire, toast those included marshmallows and gaze up at the stars.
