Burhope Farm Campsite near Orcop welcomes four-legged guests, with a secure two-acre exercise field where dogs can run freely and burn off some energy. Surrounded by rolling hills and countryside views, the campsite also has a fishing lake and space to sit outside with your dog and enjoy the fresh air.

🌕❄️ BEAVER MOON FULL MOON SWIM ❄️🌕

✨ Tuesday 24th November ✨

Join us for a magical evening beneath the November moon as we come together for our very own Beaver Moon Full Moon Swim. 🌙

As the nights draw in and the air turns crisp, there’s something truly special about stepping into the water under the glow of the full moon.

The Beaver Moon is the first of a series of three super moons. Join us at Burhope for a cold water swimming experience under the moonlight followed by fire pits, warming drinks and seasonal treats.

❄️💙 INTRODUCTION TO COLD WATER SWIMMING 💙❄️

Our Introduction to Cold Water Swimming session is designed for beginners and anyone curious about experiencing the benefits and enjoyment of swimming in cooler water.

Guided by the wonderful Swim with Ray you’ll be walked through the basics in a friendly, supportive environment, with advice on preparing for a swim, entering the water safely, managing your breathing and recognising your own limits.

There’s no pressure to swim far or stay in the water for long — the emphasis is on taking things at your own pace, building confidence and enjoying the experience.

🌊 What to expect: An introduction to cold water swimming and its benefits
❄️ Understanding how your body responds to cold water
🫁 Breathing techniques and ways to manage that initial cold-water shock
🩱 Advice on what to wear and how to prepare
🧊 Guidance on entering and exiting the water safely

Come along to this session & learn how to start this chilly hobby.

The perfect way to start swimming in colder months, all done at your own pace, with no pressure. Ideal for beginners & those who want to top up their safety knowledge.

The early birds are here!

The Synchro StingRays have been teasing us with glimpses of their preparations since early October.

Last Sunday, a whole week ahead of the official date, they kicked off World Swim Hat Day celebrations in spectacular style. Just look at those hats! 🩷🩵❤️

Now it’s the rest of the world’s turn!

🍂❄️ WHAT’S ON AT BURHOPE FARM CAMPSITE? ❄️🍂

After a fabulous Summer welcoming lots of new faces, we're ready to face the cooler months down at The Lake. As we approach Winter there is no better time to embrace the outdoors and try something a little different!

✨ What’s on this cooler season? ❄️

For both experienced cold water swimmers or those of you who are just beginning to discover the joys that the cold water can bring, we've got plenty of opportunities to get your cold water fix.

Following Summer's success, our regular swim slots will still be running throughout the week, including our popular express swims. We are also working closely with the wonderful Swim with Ray to offer guided swims, including her fabulous weekly Cold Club which we will be running on Sundays (and occasional additional dates) throughout the Winter months.

What a wonderful time we had celebrating World Swim Hat Day & watching the fabulous Synchro StingRays perform on Sunday.

A huge thank you to everyone who joined and supported us.

As we move into the Winter months we've got plenty of opportunities planned to get your cold water fix. We have our regular swim slots, perfect for both seasoned cold water swimmers and beginners and also lots of events with Swim with Ray for those of you looking to dip your toe into the fabulous world of cold water swimming.
