Which would you and your pooch prefer? We recently went away to ‘dog friendly’ accommodation only to find a list of rules. Our dogs didn’t feel welcomed and therefore we didn’t feel welcomed. In my eyes this was NOT dog friendly accommodation - merely dog tolerant. It’s such a shame, it can really make or break a holiday. You won’t find any silly rules at Dux Farm Retreat and everyone (and we mean everyone) will receive the warmest of welcomes so you can start enjoying your holiday the minute you park your car. Give us a follow and see what you’re missing.

Absolutely love this walk no matter what the weather. Always so much to see. Lovely quiet walk around Tamar Lakes with the most wonderful reward with the best pancakes and sausages for the doggies. It’s heaven for everyone. It’s only 20 mins from us and is well worth a visit.

Do you know what is amazing about this review? They didn’t have dogs and booked dog friendly accommodation - it could be quite a gamble but not at Dux Farm Retreat. We deep clean (personally, not getting cleaners in) every single changeover. So no matter how many previous bookings had dogs, you wouldn’t know! We get lots and lots of couples who don’t have dogs and love it just as much as our doggie parents 💞. Thank you for choosing us.

We’ve had an unexpected opening for Friday 4th September, with availability across two of our pods and our cottage.

If you’ve been thinking about a little countryside escape, this could be the perfect opportunity for a peaceful few days away 🌿

Our pods and cottage are nestled on the Devon/Cornwall border and are super dog friendly with plenty of space to slow down, switch off and enjoy some time together. These properties can either go together or individually.
