I can’t believe it’s that time already but with 9 bookings for 2027 (that’s 10 weeks in Higher Dux 🥳) it’s very much a necessity. It all helps keep me nice and organised. #2027

Higher Dux is our 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom single storey cottage and these are the views. 😍.
As with the pods we are super dog friendly (not just dog tolerant) and have our own private dog walk 🍁 and dog wash station 🚿.

This is how this morning’s walk started. Filming a lovely sunny autumn walk with my babies.

Got slightly distracted By the pretty colours 🌈

Every time I looked away and looked back, it was even more glorious. 😍

What a way to start your morning. Mother Nature is awesome. It not often something distracts me from filming my dogs 😳

Caveat to add, straight after the last video we got absolutely drenched. Such a shame I didn’t see it coming 🙈🤔. It was so worth it though 🌈🌈🌈

Too much for guests that are about to stay for their fourth time in 2 years? I guess we must be getting something right 😇. And you know the craziest part??? They don’t even have a dog 😱. Surprisingly we get a lot of guests that don’t have dogs (and lots of repeats). I think that goes a long way to indicate how high our cleaning standards are 🧹 No rulers were harmed in the making of this post 😂😂.

I was brought up to understand that good manners are free and can make the difference to someone’s day. If our guests make the effort to clean up the pods or cottage and leave them neat and tidy, I will always thank them. They didn’t have to do it and I want them to know I appreciate the effort. We have stayed at lots of properties and I always make an effort to clean, empty bins, strip the beds etc and I have never had a thank you 😞. Makes you wonder why you bother. A little thank you makes all the difference - and it costs nothing.
