❤️ A special occasion, celebrated right here at The Urquhart.

Recently, we had the pleasure of hosting lovely local couple Alison & Wilfie Milne as they celebrated their Ruby Wedding anniversary with family.

Even though they live locally, they chose The Urquhart as the place to bring everyone together for such a special occasion.

With a beautifully dressed table, delicious food provided by a local outside caterer and plenty of space for everyone to sit, eat, chat and enjoy the celebrations, it made for a wonderful gathering.

And it got us thinking… you don’t always need to travel far to make a special occasion memorable.

Whether you’re celebrating an anniversary, a birthday, a family milestone or simply fancy getting everyone together under one roof, The Urquhart offers plenty of space to make it your own.

Well, how lovely to see our neighbouring town of Inverurie crowned Scotland’s Town of the Year at the Scotland Loves Local Awards! 👏

With its lovely independent shops, places to eat, local events and a real community spirit, there’s plenty to discover in and around Inverurie.

And if you’re planning a visit to Aberdeenshire, did you know The Urquhart is just a five-minute drive away, in nearby Oldmeldrum?

Whether you’re gathering the family, catching up with friends or planning a few days away together, you’ve got a lovely base to explore the area from.
