We hosted the most gorgeous afternoon tea wedding recently for Louise and Alex 🧡

The day itself had a wonderfully DIY vibe, with lots of the decor and even the cake being made by loved ones, which is always extra special, don't you think?

We were entertained by the always brilliant Rick Sax and the after-party? A1 Disco and The James Brothers were absolutely amazing, a party full of energy and good vibes!

Fun fact - Lou and Alex actually booked their wedding before they even got engaged 🤣

What a lovely day of autumn flowers! 💐

We’ve had such a wonderful time at our autumn flower arranging workshop today!

A huge thank you to Floral designs by nigel whyles for guiding everyone through the arrangements and sharing his expertise. The results were gorgeous!

And of course, no afternoon at The Valley Hotel would be complete without something delicious to enjoy, so we finished things off with a lovely afternoon tea. ☕🍰

We’ve loved welcoming guests to The Valley Hotel for afternoon tea recently, and we can’t think of a better way to spend a few hours in Ironbridge!

From freshly prepared finger sandwiches to fruit scones with jam and cream, plus homemade cakes 🍰, our afternoon tea is all about taking your time and enjoying the little things...

And if you fancy afternoon tea with a festive twist, we’ve got some brilliant dates coming up!

🎄 Join us on 6th or 10th December for our Festive Afternoon Tea with Pianist, with live music from 2pm to 4pm.

At £25 per person, it’s a lovely way to get into the Christmas spirit.
