A lovely visit from some familiar faces at Pinkmead today. 🦢

Margaux and John Swan have returned, and this time they’ve brought their new cygnets along to explore!

As autumn settles in, it’s wonderful to see this little family enjoying life on the water. A lovely reminder of the wildlife we’re lucky enough to share this beautiful corner of the Island with. 🌿

Perhaps we should name the new arrivals? Any ideas….?

Our award-winning Wild Samphire Gin is returning 🍸

Distilled in small batches and made with wild samphire, our gin will be restocked at the end of this month, with just 1,000 bottles available for the public to purchase.

It’s been a rather special year for the gin too, receiving Gold at the Gin Guide Awards, the Global Gin Masters and the Women’s International Trophy, as well as Bronze at the World Gin Awards.

🍇 This year, we brought in around 1.4 tonnes of Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes from our organic vineyard here at Pinkmead.

For a small vineyard sitting just a few metres above sea level, and what could quite possibly be one of the lowest-altitude organic vineyards in the world, we think that is something pretty special.

But for us, harvest is about much more than numbers.

“We’re being dictated to by the environment, by the weather, by nature.”

That is at the heart of how we grow. Working with the land rather than against it, allowing nature to lead and keeping conservation and biodiversity at the centre of what we do.

As a female-led business, we are incredibly proud of what is being grown and created here on the Isle of Wight. It is a wonderful place to live, to grow and, as this harvest proves, to produce something rather special.

Another great Island export in the making.

Months of growing, nurturing and careful w**emaking all lead to this moment as our latest vintage is bottled and one step closer to being enjoyed.

This beautifully aromatic off-dry rosé is full of character, with notes of raspberry, tomato leaf, elderberry and rosemary, balanced by refreshing acidity and a gentle sweetness that makes it a wonderful food w**e.

Perfect alongside salami, pork, apple & onion sausage rolls, or a wedge of Comté, it’s a w**e made for long lunches and relaxed evenings overlooking the water.
