Karrageen is situated in a beautiful valley surrounded by National Trust protected coastline on the southern tip of Devon. The pretty fishing village of Hope Cove, with its sandy beaches and rock pools is just one mile down the lane. Four miles away is the sailing Mecca of Salcombe, often described as the most beautiful estuary in England. If peace and tranquillity is what you are looking for then

that is exactly what Karrageen offers. We do not have a club or bar or children’s playground but we do offer a well stocked shop with freshly cooked baguettes and croissants daily, a delicious hot, takeaway menu and plenty of space for children to play happily and safely. We have facilities for touring caravans, motor caravans, and tents of all shapes and sizes. We take booking for these pitches and recommend that you book ahead especially in the school holidays as we are not a large park and are usually full during these periods. We do our utmost to ensure that your stay with us is an enjoyable experience which many of our guests like to repeat every year.

The Hope & Anchor A fantastic St Austell Brewery pub with a welcoming atmosphere, plenty of seating, and an excellent menu. Take a seat on the terrace and enjoy stunning views across Outer Hope while you dine.

The Cove An award-winning beachfront bar and restaurant, perfect for casual dining, live sport, music, and drinks with a view. The rooftop terrace offers breathtaking sea views, while the menu features pizzas, tapas, burgers, and other crowd-pleasing favourites.

The Lobster Pod Bistro A unique and relaxed dining destination nestled in the heart of Hope Cove. Enjoy simple, delicious food while taking in spectacular views of the harbour and beach. For a truly memorable experience, dine alfresco in one of the iconic pods overlooking the water.

Hope Cove House For something a little more special, Hope Cove House is a must-visit. Under new ownership, it offers exceptional food created by Tom and the renowned Jane Baxter. Begin with a drink on the terrace and watch the world go by while admiring the beautiful views across Inner Hope, before enjoying one of their outstanding seasonal menus.
