Chapter 11 of 12 – 2026

October has been another truly wonderful month, and what a month it’s been! 💛 We were almost fully booked, with just 6 days remaining available throughout the entire month. Our little corner of the countryside has been filled with lovely guests, laughter, conversations, and so many special moments.

Thank you to everyone who chose to stay with us in October. Your continued support, kind words, and love for our little countryside retreat mean more than you know. We’re incredibly grateful 🤎💛

As November arrives, the countryside takes on a quieter, cosier charm. 🍁 Crisp mornings, misty landscapes, golden leaves, and those lovely evenings spent tucked away from the world make this such a special time for a peaceful countryside escape. 🌿🕯️

October’s bookings have been both exciting and humbling. To have just 6 days left to fill is something we never take for granted. Thank you for continuing to choose us for your special getaways and for helping make this little place so loved. 💛

Nothing beats curling up by a crackling fire on a crisp autumn or winter evening! 🪵🔥

We love making your stay as cosy as possible, which is why our autumn and winter guests receive a complimentary starter pack, complete with a selection of logs, kindling, and firelighters, so you can experience the lovely warmth of our log burner right from the start.

For the rest of your stay, you are very welcome to bring your own fuel or pick some up locally. Our wood-burning stove is a fantastic feature that brings a wonderfully warm and friendly atmosphere to any holiday, making it a true bonus to your stay at the cottage.

For your peace of mind, our chimney is professionally swept every 12 months and is fully certified.

And just like that, we’re coming towards the end of another busy and wonderful year at Pretty View Cottage! ❤️

From 2-night getaways to 28-night stays, from our lovely returning guests to the new faces who came, stayed and loved it so much they came back again… 🥰 You’ve all played a part in making 2026 such a special year for us!

We’ve loved welcoming you through our doors, reading your reviews, hearing your stories, being part of your holidays and knowing that Pretty View Cottage has been a little home-from-home for so many of you. 🏡💕

A very warm welcome to Pretty View Cottage for your 3-night autumn getaway starting today! We are so excited to have you crossing the water to stay with us as we count down to Halloween.

If you’re looking for a fun autumn outing with your toddler during your stay, we highly recommend taking a drive over to The Pumpkin Patch at Bewholme. Check out their page before you go—there is so much going on for the whole family, from picking your own pumpkins to festive photo ops and tasty seasonal treats! 🚜🌾☕️

When the little one is tucked up in bed, light the log burner, soak up the cosy vibes, and enjoy a glass or two of red w**e or a warm hot chocolate! 🪵🔥🍷☕️
