Well it’s certainly been a wild windy 💨💨💨 one this weekend!!
But we have been very fortunate, our guests arrived safely on Friday evening, and despite the weather and more than one power cut during their stays, all our guests had a lovely stay and we are very grateful for their understanding and their very kind words and lovely feedback ☺️

We have the weekend of 30th October
Available in both pods

Each of our pods sleep 2 adults, with en-suite shower 🚿 & toilet 🚽
Kitchenette with Belfast sink, fridge, microwave, 2 ring hob and all pots and pans
Underfloor heating to keep you cosy and warm in the cooler months.
Tv/dvd player a selection of DVDs & board games.

Each pod has its own private outdoor garden area, with wood fired hot tub (heated for your arrival), bbq, fire pit and multiple seating areas.

Minimum 2 night stay (2 nights with hot tub £270)

If you’re looking for something to do this weekend, there is plenty going on in our local area, starting off with Hornsea Collective’s fiver Friday,(1st Friday of the month) where lots of fantastic independent businesses have special £5 offers, head over to their page for full details, it’s a great way to have a budget friendly day out… start off with breakfast, then some shopping, perfect for picking up gifts or little new additions for your home, grab a coffee and cake before heading to Hornsea museum, and finish the day with fish and chips or pie and a pint… not forgetting to pick up a breakfast pack for the weekend.

This weekend also see the start of The Pumpkin Patch At Bewholme’s pumpkin festival, this is definitely not just for kids, and it’s only a 5 minute walk from The Paddock Pods at Homeland or 2 minutes to their pumpkin shop.

If you’re wanting to continue with the autumn theme, then a visit to Burton Agnes Hall & Gardens is a must for their autumn fair.

This Saturday also sees Sledmere hosting their farmers market, head over to their page to checkout the fantastic stalls that will be attending, this event is free to enter.

The proof is in the pudding, as they say.

We can talk about the pods all day long and say why we think you should book a visit, it’s easy to do when we planned how we’d like everything to be and have poured our hearts in to creating what we have today.

Are you looking 👀 to get some memorable Autumnal photos this October??
The Pumpkin Patch At Bewholme PYO fields are just a 5 minute walk from the pods, with the pumpkin farm displays and shop just across the road. Pumpkins 🎃 aren’t just for kids!, so if you’re looking for something to do on a weekend whilst staying here at The Paddock Pods at Homeland, we think it’s definitely worth a visit, take some pics, have a pizza 🍕 and hot chocolate ☕️ with a tasty sweet treat to finish, before heading back to the pods to relax in the hot tub

🍂🍄‍🟫🎃🌙We are absolutely over the moon, that our lovely guests staying over the weekend, who had requested the romantic autumnal decorations, loved what we had created for them.
We’re feeling very proud and overwhelmed of the feedback received, not to mention the beautiful painting they did for us 🥰, this will take pride of place along with the previous picture they did for us on their last visit.

One of my favourite things about hosting, apart from meeting all our lovely guests, is when we are asked to help make a stay extra special for a celebration.
It is a huge honour when guests ask us to be part of a memorable time in their lives, but it’s also a huge responsibility!.
I don’t have training in occasion/event planning, but I do have a passion for helping making ideas a reality.
I was recently asked to help out with an anniversary celebration… the details were love autumn, the colours etc, some petals/balloons would be nice and a bottle of w**e, chosen by them

From that I opted for silk petals, in autumn shades, stepping away from the traditional red/pinks, tea lights to add a lovely glow(don’t worry battery ones, not real ones!)
I thought it’d be nice for them to look back at photos of times together over the years, and I know have a great little printer that prints perfect prints to add to balloons hanging from the ceiling ‘a walk down memory lane’
And lastly, rather than just putting the w**e in the fridge to cool, I made a pumpkin 🎃 ice bucket, a perfect seasonal touch, finished of with pine cones.

This has definitely been one of my favourites, unfortunately the photos don’t do it justice!, but if you’re planning a special occasion and would like to discuss your requirements please get in touch we’ll be happy to help 🥰

I’m not sure I’m quite ready to hand over the advertising and social media to him just yet, but we think he did a great job, and hopefully you get a snip it of what’s growing
