We are carrying out some essential roof repairs next week with scaffolding over the front of the building. Due to this, we will be closed in the mornings and will open at 12pm from Sunday 11th until Thursday 15th October. We will return to normal hours from Friday 16th at 10am. This work will also affect our car park, so we will have no spaces available at the front of the hotel all next week, and possibly into the weekend. There are limited spaces to the rear of the hotel. Apologies for all the inconvenience, but unfortunately it really needs to be done.

Bar & Waiting Staff – Full Time

Now that many of our students are heading back to Uni, we are looking for a friendly and reliable person to join our bar and restaurant team on a full-time basis.

This job would be approximately 35 hours per week. The role includes serving food and drinks, taking orders, preparing the restaurant and bar for service, handling payments, and helping ensure our guests receive warm and attentive service.

Previous hospitality experience would be helpful, but a positive attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn are equally important. Full training will be provided.

Applicants must:

Be aged 18 or over
Be available to work evenings and weekends
Be friendly, confident and comfortable dealing with customers
Work well as part of a busy team
Be dependable and well presented
