Take our dining chairs, for instance. They aren't just antiques; they are original dining room chairs from the RMS Mauretania, Cunard’s famous Edwardian ocean liner. When the ship was decommissioned in 1935, its grand interior furnishings were auctioned off, finding a natural home right here in Kirkby Lonsdale.
