A little bit of an experiment today - but I'm really pleased with the way these Victoria Sponge loaves have turned out.
Hope they taste good. Didn't make a spare to sample 😬

Mr H has been busy with his paintbrushes again this summer. He likes everything s***k & span! Do you like the colours?
Desperately trying to get it finished before winter. Good job Mr H!

Heads up folks staying with us between
13 Sept & 4th Oct. The A170 is closing at Sutton Bank for 3 weeks. Get in touch if you need any help with alternative routes. There's various options. Don't panic. It's a pain but not a problem.

A reminder that Sutton Bank on the A170 will be closed for annual maintenance from 7am on Sunday, 13 September, until 7pm on Sunday, 4 October.

The closure has been extended to three weeks this year to allow for further drainage work and repairs.

A wider programme of improvements to Sutton Bank is planned over the next three years.

My second buttercream cupcake bouquet. Getting a bit more confident now. Hardest part this time was the wrapping 🥴🤦🏼‍♀️. Still need a lot of practice and guest guinea pigs 🤣
