Guests staying with us this season might be in for a rather unusual sight 👀 🐊

Local authorities have (apparently!) approved plans for a world-renowned sculptor to transform the Great Orme into a giant crocodile-shaped landmark emerging into the sea.

Yes… you read that right.

Using the natural contours of the headland, the proposal would see subtle carving to create:

• A crocodile head facing out across the bay
• Illuminated eyes visible from the promenade
• A unique viewing platform inside the “mouth”

Some say it will become one of the most talked-about coastal attractions in the UK. Others… aren’t so sure.

But here’s the thing - from certain angles, it already kind of looks like one…

Some mornings this is all you need.

A comfortable chair, a cup of tea, and that view across the bay. The sea changes every day, and in winter it can be especially dramatic.

It’s one of my favourite spots in the house.
