Dover sole, done right! Tim picked up a couple of fish from the shop and sent us these.

Lemon, capers, olives and a good few slices of butter with a dusting of spice, then into the oven. Look at how good they look! 😍

Simple, quick, and about as good as fish gets. Cheers Tim for sharing, we love seeing what you guys do with what you buy from us.

We came across these newspaper clippings from around the time we opened our shop in Lochgilphead , 15 years ago this November! 😮

It’s lovely to look back and see us all at the very beginning of the shop, and to read about the hopes and plans for the new outlet.

This second article is a particularly special one, featuring three generations of the Murray family and telling a little of the story behind Murray’s Smoked Products, from the early days of the smokehouse to the shop and mail order business.

Little did we know that 15 years later, Murray’s would still be here, serving the people of Lochgilphead and beyond! 🐟

We thought we’d share these little pieces of our history as we approach our 15th anniversary in the shop.
