Availability Update:
June: Cancellation week 27/6-4/7 is amazingly STILL available!
July: FULLY BOOKED
August: FULLY BOOKED
Sept: FULLY BOOKED
Oct: 1 week 17th-24th
Nov: 6th onwards
Dec: all dates up to the 23rd available

Bonfire night, Christmas and New Year are all already booked.
We are taking 2027 bookings, three already in ☺️

🗓️Don't leave it too late if you need specific dates. Just £100 deposit and the balance a month before.

Hello all are you melting yet? It is around 30 here at Hendre HQ. Think of me tomorrow on changeover day 🥵🫠
Anyway I am shamelessly pinching a question I've seen some other dog friendly cottages asking:
At the moment we ask if your dog sleeps on the bed that you bring your own bedding. However quite a few of our guests have king or super king at home and the cottage beds are standard doubles.
Would it be helpful if we had a 'dogs on the bed' set of bedding? This would still be clean and nice but just maybe not as nice as our regular sets? In the summer it could even be one of those coverless duvets?
Let me know any thoughts!

Still available: an extremely rare cancellation for 7 nights, arriving Saturday 27th June and departing Saturday 4th July at Hendre Ddu Cottage — and if you follow us, you’ll know June and July dates are usually booked a year in advance.

At Hendre Ddu Cottage you’ll find:
🚶‍♂️‍➡️Stunning walks in an unspoilt forest valley inside the Snowdonia National Park: you’ll usually see no one else
🏡A cosy historic cottage with a well equipped kitchen, woodburner in the lounge and two double bedrooms upstairs.
🐕Dogs (up to 4, more possible by arrangement) made just as welcome as their humans at NO EXTRA charge, and allowed in all rooms and on furniture.
🌳¾ acre of fully enclosed garden (minimum 4ft boundaries fences and gates)
⭐The darkest of dark skies: you’ll never have seen so many stars
🌿A chance to truly switch off and relax in nature
