🦐 Jossel - Sous Chef
Jossel's first anniversary with the hotel marks a new chapter in his culinary journey, as he continues to wow guests with his Prawn Linguine and innovative specials. If he could have any job in the world, he'd be the Head Chef for Manchester United - and we're not surprised! ⚽

⛳ Paul - Head Chef
Leading our kitchen team is Paul, a true hospitality trailblazer with 22 years of experience under his belt. He lives for the daily challenges and opportunities to innovate, and his passion for golf is only rivalled by his love for hearty winter classics like stews and hotpots. Meet Breakfast Chef Soloman.

Having been part of the DoubleTree Manchester Airport family for 2 years, Soloman plays a key role in helping our guests start their day the right way.

💙 Favourite part of the job: Creating traditional breakfasts and making guests smile.

While many of us are still enjoying our first coffee of the day, Soloman is already hard at work preparing breakfast for our guests. From ensuring everything is cooked to perfection to creating a warm and welcoming start to the morning, his passion and dedication shine through every day.

We have a great opportunity for an experienced Painter to join our Maintenance Team here at DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport.

It’s a 36-hour-per-week role, based here at the hotel, with a salary of £25,800.

We’re looking for someone with previous painting and decorating experience who takes real pride in their work and would enjoy being part of a friendly, hands-on hotel team.

Let’s just say Vic, Kabir, Amy & Mo weren’t having any of it! 😂

So instead, we thought we’d let our guests help us tell you just how brilliant they are. 💙

While most of us are sleeping, our Front of House Nights Team are here creating warm welcomes for late arrivals, helping guests heading off for those very early flights, remembering returning faces and names, and quietly making sure everything is taken care of through the night.

And our guests notice:

💬 “Remembered my name. Remembered meeting me in the past. An exceptional person.”

💬 “Reception welcome excellent.”

💬 “Extremely helpful and even made sure we got our pre-packed breakfast as we checked out at 5am.”

It’s the little things that make a big difference, and these comments say so much about the care and passion our Nights Team bring to every shift.

We loved reading this week’s guest review, especially as this was a returning guest who hadn’t visited us for more than a year!

From space for the whole family and convenient parking, to those handy late-night or early-morning essentials and a delicious buffet breakfast before setting off, sometimes it’s the little things that make travelling that bit easier.

And we especially loved hearing that our guest noticed the changes and improvements around the hotel since the last visit. 🥰

✨ What a fantastic way to round off the week! ✨
This week, we had the pleasure of attending the World of TUI Showcase at the incredible Concorde Conference Centre, spending the day with around 100 travel agents from across the UK.
It was wonderful to meet so many people, share what makes DoubleTree by Hilton Manchester Airport unique, and talk about everything from our spacious family rooms and convenient parking packages to our rooftop bees and warm DoubleTree welcome.
A huge thank you to everyone who stopped by to chat and entered our prize draw. We loved hearing about your travel experiences and future plans.
🎉 Congratulations to Mabel from InteleTravel, who was the lucky winner of an overnight stay with parking!
We spoke with Mabel today, and she was absolutely delighted with the news.
