Fish & Chips, who doesn’t love this fabulous seaside favourite! No idea why they always taste so much better by the sea! Our friends at Squires in Braunton have just won the most prestigious award and suffice it to say, we think they’re the best too! Eat in or click and collect and eat them on
the beach at Saunton!! It’s a plan Stan!

RHS Rosemoor at Great Torrington is a wonderful day out, particularly at this time of year during their annual Festival of Roses. Boasting one of UK’s largest collection of roses, Rosemoor is home to more than 200 varieties! Sophie and Fletch took our wandering bear Morty for a visit yesterday. He thought it was most delightful!! We think you’ll agree!

🌿 Our 4 Favourite Things to Do on a Warcombe Holiday 🌿

One of the best things about staying at Warcombe Farm Camping Park is having so many simple yet fantastic days out right on your doorstep. Here are four of our favourites:

🥾 1. Woodland Walk to Lee Bay. Stroll through the woods from Warcombe to beautiful Lee Bay. Enjoy a paddle in the crystal-clear water, browse the treasures at the Old Schoolroom Gallery, then settle in for a pub lunch at The Grampus Inn before wandering back through the countryside.

🌊 2. A Perfect Day in Mortehoe. Explore the spectacular coastal path around Morte Point, keeping an eye out for seals along the way. Treat yourself to a cream tea at Town Farmhouse, discover a bit of local history at the quirky little museum, enjoy a pint of Devon Cider at The Ship Aground or Chichester Arms and finish the day with takeaway fish and chips for supper.

☕ 3. Marine Drive to Putsborough. Park at Marine Drive (free for National Trust Members) and start with coffee and homemade cake at The Porthole Café. Walk up Potters Hill and across to stunning Putsborough Beach. Keep an eye out for the wild ponies! Grab lunch at the beach café before strolling back along the sand and soaking up those incredible views.

🦀 4. Rock Pools, Curry & Sunsets! Spend the morning rockpooling at Combesgate, best at low tide, then enjoy an afternoon dip at Barricane Beach. As the sun begins to go down, pick up one of the famous curries from the beach shack and enjoy dinner with one of the best sunsets in North Devon. Be sure to try their freshly squeezed pineapple juice! Yum!
