Saddle Up & Unwind: The Ultimate Sherwood Forest Base for Cycling Groups

Organizing a weekend ride or a multi-day tour for a cycling club or mountain biking group comes with a unique set of logistical challenges. Finding a property that comfortably handles a group of adults is hard enough—finding one that treats thousands of pounds' worth of bikes, frames, and gear with the security they require is almost impossible.

Too many holiday rentals offer a tiny wooden garden shed with a flimsy padlock and call it "bike-friendly," or they force your team to haul wet, muddy kit through narrow hallways. When you are traveling with high-end road bikes, gravel rigs, or custom e-MTBs, that simply doesn't cut it.

Positioned right on the doorstep of Sherwood Forest’s premier trail networks and the famous Sustrans national cycle routes, The East Wing at Rufford Park Lodge is engineered from the ground up to be the ultimate premium hub for cycling groups and biking circles. Continue reading →
