Our favourite sunset season is officially back… 🌅✨

There’s just something about September sunsets in Cornwall. The skies get a little more dramatic, the beaches a little quieter and suddenly every evening feels like it’s putting on a show.

The kind that makes you stop what you’re doing, grab a drink and head outside to watch. 💛

Honestly, September… you might just be our favourite. 👀🌊

It's taken us a few days to process this but over the weekend, there was a large rock fall on Holywell Beach and it caused the cliff to collapse. Sadly, the cliff that collapsed was the one that housed "the holy well" - the magical wonder and beautiful place that gives our village it's name is now likely to be gone forever.

We're sure many of you feel just as sad as us - it was a place we'd wander on dog walks, show our children who would sit in awe and it was steeped in so much myth and legend.

Maybe just maybe, it's intact and the water continues to flow but for now we just don't know. Please avoid the area, the recent hot weather followed by heavy rain have made the surrounding cliffs unstable but the rest of our beach is still very much open as usual. The huge sand dunes, Gull Rocks and the turquoise sea remain as lovely as ever.
