Had a great time watching the Proclaimers tonight at Tunes in the Dunes. There are not many festivals with a view like this when you are walking home.

Our latest arrivals, two Berkshire piglets. Once again handled and named by Louise and Kate.

Berkshires are a native rare breed, normally black with a bit of white on the snout.

The first egg has hatched, wasn’t expecting the first one till tomorrow. Also quite a few eggs are pipped (the first sign of hatching) we will see how we go over the next 24 hours.
Five now as I closed Reception for the day.

Fourteen this morning, moving the older ones to their run with heat lamp to give the younger ones time to dry off without being bullied.

Gus and Gilbert 🐐

Here they are being expertly handled by Kate and Louise, who can now proudly add “Goat Handlers” to their CVs—alongside their already impressive title of “Pig Wranglers”

Now in reception we have our latest batch of eggs in their incubator ready to hatch at the end of the month. Hopefully we’ll get quite a few little chicks to eventually join our little possie up in our animal corner.
