Sunday was the big pack down day. The sun was shining, the volunteers arrived and the work began. 2 tents went off to their new homes while the others were emptied and packed away. The midway pasty break was a must, then back to work on a surprisingly hot day. Found a few critters hiding under the beds (won't say which tent incase it freaks out previous guests.😁), and sent them off to their new homes. Finally the last tent was boxed and stored away. Now the field looks scarred and empty (is that a metaphor for me?🤔). Always feels quite sad to see, lots of reflections on the lovely guests and wonderful summer we have shared. I really am so grateful for each one of you who has chosen to stay here. Ended the day with a sea dip and a load of washing 😆. Huge thanks to my wonderful friends who gave up their time to help, couldn't have done it without you. 🥰
