The evenings are drawing in, the Christmas lights are almost ready to sparkle, and there’s a fantastic mix of events happening around town!

From live theatre and festive train rides to Christmas markets and community gatherings, there’s something for everyone this November. ❤️

🌹 A Time to Remember

We begin the month with moments of reflection as our community comes together to remember those who served and sacrificed.

• Sun 8 Nov | Remembrance Sunday
10:15am – Muster at the Salvation Army Citadel, ready for the march to the War Memorial.
10:30am – Wreath-laying ceremony and Service of Remembrance at the War Memorial, including the reading of the names of the fallen by members of the Scouts and Brownies.
11:15am (approx.) – March to St Peter’s Church for a formal Remembrance Service.

Everyone is welcome to join.

• Sat 14 Nov, 4pm | Music for Remembrance with Sheringham and Cromer Choral Society at St Peter’s Church.

🎭 A Month of Entertainment at Sheringham Little Theatre

There’s something for everyone on stage this November!

• Sat 7 Nov | Anyone for Tennis? A night of comedy.
• 11–14 Nov | Pygmalion.
• Thu 19 Nov | Norfolk Folklore: The Fog, followed by a Q&A.
• Fri 20 Nov | Solve-Along-A-Murder-She-Wrote: Menace, Anyone? 🔎
• 25–28 Nov | A Christmas Carol, complete with carols to sing along to! 🎶
• Sun 29 Nov | Santa’s Grotto! 🎅

There’s nothing quite like seeing our seaside town dressed up for Christmas, and the festivities are getting underway!

✨ Fri 27 Nov, 5–7pm | Sheringham Christmas Lights Switch-On and Late-Night Shopping! Come along, enjoy the atmosphere and support our wonderful independent businesses.

Brilliant turn out for the naming ceremony at Oddfellows Hall, with The Sheringham Shantymen in fine voice 🎶

The Atlantic 85 vessel, costing over 300k, named “Oddfellows: Making Friends, Helping People” was built at the RNLI workshop at their inshore lifeboat centre in East Cowes and will be housed at the Sheringham Lifeboat Station when it reopens after its refurbishment

The funding for the vessel was managed by the The Oddfellows East Anglian Group Conference on behalf of the entire order.

🎃 It's half term in Sheringham, and there's loads to do!

Looking for something to do with the family this half term? From spooky theatre and magical railway adventures to celebrating our town's heritage, there's plenty happening in Sheringham! 🌊

Here's just a taste of what's on this week:

🚂 Enchanted Experiences at Magic School | North Norfolk Railway

All aboard for a magical adventure from 26–31 October! 🪄

Climb aboard a heritage train and discover some enchanting activities along the way:

✨ Hop off at Weybourne Station for Charms classes, potion-making and a special wizard dress-up area.

🌿 Explore the magical herb garden at Sheringham Station, full of weird and wonderful smells.

🐉 Head to Holt Station and see if you can find all the hidden dragon eggs!

Young apprentices will also receive an activity sheet to help them discover their wizard name and complete the trail.

Fancy dressing up as a wizard for the day? You're very welcome to! 🧙

🧶 International Gansey Day | Sheringham Museum

Saturday 31 October, 10:30am–4:30pm.

Celebrate the tradition of fishermen's knitwear with workshops and a special talk at 3pm. It's also your last chance to catch The Stitcher, The Photographer & The Painter before the museum closes for the season!
