Bolton Castle spooky Halloween spectacular 🎃👻🧙🦇🏰

30/10/2026

We had another smashing day at Bolton Castle and as usual they decorate the castle at Halloween so spookily 🎃👻🧙 the kids (and me) loved the Halloween trial

This time we also did the castle by candlelight tour which was fantastic 🕯️🏰🦇 and something we definitely would do again! Going around the castle at night was just magical.

*note the castle will be closing at the end of October for the winter but we are already counting the days till it reopens next year 😄

Winter opening times for Wensleydale Creamery from Monday 2nd November. Quite a lot of local business change their hours over wintertime so it’s always wise to plan your visit 😄
