Throwback to 2019 Halloween … we weren’t too surprised that no one was walking past the front door! It would have worked better on the quay head for passing boats!

Just like holidays, dog walks are better next to the water!
Whether it’s getting the dog walked before the heat in summer or winter time crisp mornings, we often venture up Horsefen Road, along Womack D**e and up the River Thurne towards Potter Heigham.

It’s still mild weather at The Limes, we can’t guarantee when it will change, but, we can offer a 4 night stay from 09/11/27 or a 7 night from 13/11/27. Let’s hope it’s blue sky!

30/09/2026

A few more sunny days on the forecast, we could definitely go for another day behind the rods with the blue sky above!

23/09/2026

We probably have over a thousand sunset pictures at The Limes, but, this is only the 4th moonrise picture!
Who else has caught this on a clear and calm night?

16/09/2026

More great summer memories for the little ones… and the adults that still enjoy being big kids trotting a float along Womack for the constant action!

09/09/2026

The nights drawing in, we’re not a fan of shorter days but we don’t mind the sundowners with a backdrop like this.

19/08/2026

More memories made at The Limes for a certain water confident 4 year old!
So many happy holidays and so many special moments for so many of us.

12/08/2026

9pm sunsets, yes it’s a bit early already, but, we love this view whether it’s a winter 4pm sunset or a summer solstice (almost 2 months ago) sunset after 17hours of daylight.

05/08/2026

Wishing this was our plan for today, there’s little more relaxing than sitting behind the rods on the quay head, watching the boats pass and reeling in Womack’s finest fish.
