Blackthorn Gate is an small exclusive collection of Scandinavian lodges looking out over Roseberry Topping.

All the lodges have their own hot tub (extra cost) and free sauna. Please note we do not do one night stays minimum two nights Blackthorn Gate is a collection of 4 star gold rated holiday lodges looking out over Roseberry Topping. There is on site fishing in three lakes (no day tickets).

Why not take a relaxing break before the Christmas rush starts. All lodges look out over Roseberry Topping and have their own sauna and hot tub (additional charge for hot tub use)
We also accept dogs in some lodges

Monday morning with a difference cleaning hot tubs as normal and adjusting heat pump setting in Lapwing lodge utility room when I saw three baby blue t**s sitting on the window ledge. I called Rita to help round them up. In the end there were eight of them.
Their parents had built a nest in some redundant ducting used by the old exhaust air pumps we used to have. They had taken a wrong turn and ended up inside the lodge.
We put them in the hedge next to the lodge and they very quickly disappeared with their parents
