Today is National Wine Day, and what better excuse to raise a glass of your favourite white, red, or maybe a crisp rosé if that’s more your style?

Our relaxed Oban brasserie and Lulu Lounge offer the perfect setting to celebrate with a carefully curated selection of wines and locally inspired dishes overlooking Oban Harbour.

One of our favourite pairings from the menu has to be the pan roasted fillet of hake, served with shellfish chowder and parmentier potatoes, rich, delicate, and full of coastal flavour. We’d pair this with a chilled glass of Sauvignon Blanc or a lightly oaked Chardonnay to complement the freshness of the seafood and creamy sauce.
