So he's flying the nest ! 🦅

Well what can we say, he started working here around march 2022 as a young nipper doing front of house, he very quickly made his way into the kitchen and never looked back ! With his passion for cooking and under Ben's watchful eyes and training he certainly became an asset to us all.
There was never a dull moment when he was around!
One story that sticks in our heads is when he came back from Aberystwyth uni, he had a job in a Michelin star restaurant and was keen to show us a pea puree and Beurre blanc sauce 🍲 He prepared it for 3 hours whilst we were all busy with breakfasts, When he finally finished his master piece dish for us to try.....he only went and dropped the lot over the floor/walls/appliances....it was everywhere 🤣🤣🤣 God love him ! 🙈
All jokes aside tho, he's been Ben's right hand man, always stepped in when we have needed him, got to a level and standard of cooking where he could hold the fort for us whilst we have been away....And thats not an easy pressure to have on your shoulders at your age but you smashed it everytime 💪 👨🍳
Now he's absolutely smashed uni (we don't know how, he was constantly drunk on rum 🥃) and moving to Cardiff to hopefully pursue a career in the police force as a detective which i know he will be fantastic at, because he certainly is the nosiest member of staff we have ever employed 😂
Good luck Jacob!! you certainly will be missed ❤️ Thank you for everything you have done here for us, We look forward to getting your updates and if we ever get into trouble......we definitely won't call you ! 🤣
