He once stood beside Napoleon Bonaparte, during his exile on St Helena. 🤍

Basil Jackson lived here in the 1800s, having served as an aide to the Duke of Wellington before that remarkable posting.

Sunday Lunches

We are thrilled with the response to our Monthly Sunday Lunch Events- lots of returning friends have booked again; in fact, we only have 2 tables left for Sunday 18th October!

Arrival with Amuse-bouche shared starter at 1:00pm
Traditional Sunday Roast with all the trimmings, served at 1:30pm, followed by a delicious dessert.

3 Course £46 per person
2 Course £38 per person

After lunch, take your time to enjoy the beautiful surroundings, relax by the fire and perhaps indulge in a drink from the bar.
