Winter Market - Sunday 6th December, 12pm-3pm

The last of our years seasonal markets is coming up soon! Join us here at the Yew Tree where we'll have loads of local craft stalls, an orchard walk, mulled c***r, kids festive craft table and tasty woodfired food!

We'll also be launching our new Winter C***r which is sure to be a warming festive treat. It'll be available in 750ml bottle and on draught. Come along and grab some Christmas gifts from some fab local craftspeople!

Live music this Friday!

We're joined by Clementine Lovell and her band this Friday evening from 9pm. Come along to see them perform original folk songs with a full band including accordion, drums, harmonica, fiddle and double bass. It's free entry and all are welcome.

We'll have food beforehand from our very own pizza maestros Firebird Kitchen serving the very best woodfired sourdough pizzas. They're serving from 5pm-8pm and there's a few tables left to book, send us a DM or give us a ring on 01989 562815.

C***r Club with Totemic C***r & Perry - Saturday 31st, 7pm

Matt Smith from Totemic will be here to host our monthly c***r club this Saturday evening. We'll get to try a bunch of great drinks and hear about them, they way they were made and why they are special from the maker himself. No doubt there will be some fantastically rare perry to enjoy too!

C***r club is £15 on the door and welcome to all, its a fantastic event for anyone to enjoy. Whether you're a c***r pro or just c***r curious come along and see (and try) what it's all about.

This Saturday Firebird Kitchen are away so instead we have Khunmae Thai Kitchen here serving from 1pm-8pm!

Clementine Lovell Live Performance - Friday 30th October from 9pm

Join us for an evening of live music from local folk singer Clementine Lovell and her band, comprising of percussion, guitar, bass, double bass and harmonica. You may have heard Clementine perform some of her songs during our Blue's Afternoons and now we are very excited to hear her play a full set.

The event starts at 9pm and is free to all!

Food Pop Up - Saturday 31st October

Just a heads up to say Khunmae Thai Kitchen will be serving their delicious Thai style street food on Saturday 31st October 1pm - 8pm as Firebird Kitchen will be away. If you haven't eaten with them yet, now is the perfect oppurtunity, we always love having them stop by!

Yew Tree Presents... Trojan Records: The Rise of Reggae in the UK by Marcus Byrne - Wednesday 4th November from 7pm

This month's talk is about the history of the Trojan Record label and how it brought Jamaican music to the UK. Marcus will be bringing along some of his extensive vinyl collection and ephemera to both play and show during the talk.

Our talks start from 7pm and are always free to attend!

Clementine Lovell will be performing a special one off gig here at the Yew Tree on Friday 30th at 9pm!

She'll be bringing her band with her this time including drums, double bass, and violin playing Clementine's original folk songs. You may have seen her perform a few songs at one of our recent blues afternoons, this time you get the full set!

Firebird Kitchen will be serving their woodfired pizzas in the evening until 8pm, and we'll have a fantastic selection of drinks being served all evening. See you there!

Doug's Pub Quiz - Wednesday 28th October, 7:30pm

There's still a few tables left for our monthly pub quiz! We'll have quizmaster Doug here as usual dealing out the questions and giving the points to the smartest teams. It's £2 per person up to teams of 6 with all cash entries going into the prize pot.
