Harry's Bar is situated on the Esplanade in Ryde, Isle of Wight - Dog Friendly & Open Daily for food. Delicious home-made desserts are a speciality.

Harry’s Bar and Brasserie is open to residents and non-residents and offers a relaxed dining experience. The décor is classically styled - reminiscent of the golden age of Bogart and Casablanca - complete with Kentia Palms. The Restaurant offers a classic Brasserie menu using fresh, locally sourced ingredient cooked to perfection by our resident chefs. Allergy free and vegetarian options are available. As well as offering a full range of spirits, unusual ales and fine wines Harry’s also has a full Cocktail selection offering a range of traditional cocktails including, of course, the famous Bellini. The bar also has a separate ‘Snug’ room - where you can relax after your meal. Harry’s is open during the day and evening seven day a week.

I am hosting the night at Harry’s Bar dressed as Mrs Lovett, bringing a touch of classic Fleet Street style to our trivia evening. 🎭
It is going to be a brilliant night packed with excellent general knowledge rounds, a few spooky categories, and some great friendly competition.

Please be aware that this coming weekend (16th–18th October), Harry’s Bar, our Coffee Shop and Restaurant will have restricted opening hours due to The Royal Esplanade Hotel hosting The Soul & Reggae Weekender 2026. 🎶

We will be closed to the public from:

🔹 Friday 16th – 3pm
🔹 Saturday 17th – 4pm
🔹 Sunday 18th – 4pm
